About the exhibition

High Tides and Quiet Pools was a group exhibition by Tvaertimod / On the Contrary, a Nordic artist group, at Huuto Gallery in Helsinki, 2–26 July 2026. The group is Ásthildur Jónsdóttir (IS), Mikael Lind (SE), Sigga Björg Sigurdardóttir (IS), Camilla Vuorenmaa (FI), Kiyoshi Yamamoto (JP/NO) and Anne Munnecke (DK).

Anne Munnecke showed Moon Pool, a seven-metre textile of plant-dyed cotton, linen, wool and silk hung from the ceiling, together with four works on silk in which seaweed prints form faces and figures.
